Rosa’s market and deli is named in honour of my grandmother, Rosa Bonaventura.  She was the mother of 10 children.   My mother Elvira Diana is the 7th child. 

They loved to cook.  Nothing was measured.  It was a handfull of this or a pinch of that.  You learned by watching and making the foods. Nothing made those women prouder than to set the plates of food on the table and watch the family eat.

I am proud to have the opportunity to serve to you the wonderful family recipes that they shared with me.
