Rosa’s works hard to serve the best Italian food possible, using family recipes and fresh ingredients. Enjoying our classic dishes, strangers become friends and friends become family. “Eat and Live Well” is our motto.
My Grandmother Rosa handed down the recipes we use at the market and deli. Fresh breads are still made today in our families Bakery and Deli in Paterno, Sicily, Italy. We use those recipes to make our breads served at Rosa’s.
Rosa’s Italian Market & Deli is located in downtown Post Falls, Idaho. The store is an upscale Italian grocery and delicatessen with a distinct menu that includes quality authentic, hard to find grocery items and prepared foods and ingredients from Italy and around the world, we offer good service and a pleasant atmosphere with the warm feel of an Old-World market.
The deli serves hot and cold sandwiches, soups, salads, breakfast sweets and sandwiches, specialty drinks, and picnic lunches.
Our Espresso Bar features Caffe Umbria coffees, Espresso, Americano, Latte, Mocha, Cappuccino, Teas, Brewed coffee, Italian sodas, and homemade Granita.
Satisfy that sweet tooth with our hard-to-find homemade pastries, desserts and candies. Cannoli, Sfogliatelle, Tiramisu, Eclairs, Cream Puffs, Cheesecake, Bread Puddings, Cassatina and Sicilian Rum Cake are a few of the specialties.
Gift items complement the international theme of the store and include a limited selection of kitchen wares, cookbooks, picnic items, and original hand-sewn items, imported wines & beers from Italy and house wares. All the recipes used in the deli highlight the grocery items sold in the market. Gift baskets are available in the store ready made or custom order.
Market items include but will not be limited to: sauces, oils, spices, spreads, peppers, cheese, meats, pasta, rice, canned goods, drinks, chocolates. A selection of frozen meals (made in the store) will be available for home cooking, and will include items such as homemade Lasagna, Manicotti, Stuffed Peppers, Chicken Marsala, and Ravioli.
